Lip augmentation creates fuller and plumper lips. For Augmentation a natural or synthetic biocompatible material, or the patient’s own fat, is injected or implanted in the lips. Several filler Injections may be repeated periodically. Alloderm,Gore-Tex, SoftForm and soft ePTFE are some of the synthetic implants used for lip augmentation.

Lip reduction is done for very bulky or hanging lips.
